Question:
How can I assign flags and sounds to dictionaries?
Answer:
TranslateIt! currently supports additional flags depicting translation directions as well as additional sound sets (containing examples of words' pronunciation.)

Flags and sound sets can be assigned to specific dictionaries (see below for details.)
Some flags are already contained in the TranslateIt! package.
Additional flags and sound sets are available as separate TranslateIt! packages.
TranslateIt! packages are a actually folders containing necessary resources and their descriptions.
TranslateIt! packages are bundles, and in Finder, they look like single files.
You can download desired TranslateIt! packages from the Download page.
TranslateIt! packages are usually distributed in ZIP-archives. So after downloading them, you should locate them in Finder and double-click to uncompress them.
Then you should double-click the resulting TranslateIt! file to install it.
After installing flag and sound sets you can assign them to specific dictionaries:
- Open TranslateIt! Preferences (by choosing Preferences from the TranslateIt! menu or pressing CMD+,)
- Click the first tab and select one or more dictionaries.
Right-click one of the selected dictionaries, and from the contextual menu, select flags and sound sets to be assigned to all selected dictionaries.
